We carry our ancestors’ imprints in our epigenetic makeup. In this work we both disentangle from limiting influences as well as tap into the richness of our ancestors’ strengths, gifts and wisdom. Limiting imprints can stem from the fates of excluded family members in our lineage, from family secrets, unhealed losses as well as from collective trauma such as war, injustice or genocide.
