Hi, I’m Gita. Happy to meet you here.

Born in Germany in the sixties, I grew up in a middle class family grappling with the fallout of the holocaust and WW2, which made me question early what being human really meant. A life changing event in my early twenties led me to studying Zen meditation, Sufism, body-, breath-, and energy work, Bioenergetics and Gestalt therapy and to devoting my life to healing, embodied spirituality and presence.

I am very grateful for the 1980s when extensive travels led me to England, North Africa, the US and India. During those years I began training in Counseling, Somatic Therapy, Family Dynamics and Developmental Psychology. I have worked with those modalities as as a Coach and Counselor since 1990.

I have been teaching Somatic Developmental Trauma Healing, corporate Emotional Intelligence seminars, residential Women’s, Attachment and Resilience Retreats for over 30 years. My approach is customized, existential and informed by Somatic Experiencing, developmental trauma healing, systemic family constellations, InterPersonal NeuroBiology, Gestalt, Jungian archetypes, shadow work, metaphysics, meditation and essence work. I am a Senior Leader for PathRetreats USA.

My home base is Sedona AZ where I love to hike and be in nature, alone and with friends. I offer wholistic coaching, trainings and retreats in the US and in Europe.

Out beyond the field of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about.
